At the invitation of SM publishers (Editora SM), I developed 20 personalized characters to illustrate their new "Geração Alpha" collection. The textbook collection is for elementary students, so we created fun and dynamic illustrations to match this profile. The idea was to design pre-teens full of personality and diversity. The first collection of illustrations was the development of 20 characters, from head to bust.
The busts turned out very nice, so we created full-body characters from them. Everyone is walking so they can follow the summary and contents of the books. This time, we also increased the color palette with skin tones and green shades.
To close the collection, we also created three compositions with the characters developed before. They're interacting with different shapes - that will be filled with different texts from the publisher.
